Staff ahoy!

It’s been quite an eventful few weeks at HTD HQ.  We have a new member of the team! The lovely and talented Sammy Roberts has joined us and has been working on production for a few weeks now which means we can turn wholesale orders over more quickly and concentrate some more time on designs. As good as she is at oressing t-shirts (and she is good) Sammy will also be helping me and Mr C to review the business. She knows her stuff and she knows HTD so we will really value this input.

Last week saw the opening of a new independent shop in West Bridgford Locally Produced for You. Located above Hair Scene on Central Avenue (opposite HSBC). Locally Produced for you already boasts a super website which brings local creative businesses, customers and events planning togther. The new shop is a natural development – a place where you can pick up gorgeous gifts by local and national designer-makers. That’s not all (and this is the really good bit!) It’s kind of like a friendly hub where you can go and chat through what you’d like and Kate will endevour to link you up with someone who can help. There are plenty of examples too to help you choose a unique gift. While you’re there have a look to see what creative workshops are running and get booked in for a bit of the action!

These gorgeous dresses are by Lucellen – could you please do them in grown up sizes too?! Lovely.

And finally there are new designs – yay! Something for grown-ups and something else for the kids plus a few Christmassey bits and bobs (bien sur!)

“Off the Beaten track” – pretend that you’re in the middle of knowhere up a hill away from any squabbling children/work madness. If you’ve got this on your wall you can drift away anytime. This art print features Wordsworths “Composed at the edge of Grasmere” and would be a perfect gift for any outdoorsy types whether they are cyclists. walkers or full-on tri-athletes!

And Twinkle Twinkle is nearly there although needs a bit of colour tweaking – what do you think? The two tots are based on my little ones. It’s been lovely drawing the kids again – I haven’t done much since they were babies….

This is Iris at 8 weeks and she is still on that thumb today. All together now “ahhhh”!  [contact-form][contact-field label=’Name’ type=’name’ required=’1’/][contact-field label=’Email’ type=’email’ required=’1’/][contact-field label=’Website’ type=’url’/][contact-field label=’Comment’ type=’textarea’ required=’1’/][/contact-form]
