How we’re the Easter holidays? Did you manage to get creative at all with the kids? If I’m honest we didn’t do lots of creative stuff because we were outside enjoying the sunshine! Wasn’t it lovely? Although we did choose the coldest part of the Easter Holidays to go to the beach and on rugby tour in Norfolk so some serious wrapping up was required!
We have exciting news afoot! The studio is moving. Not far at all – two doors down to be precise – to number 34! The exciting thing is it will be my very own space. Since moving the business out of our home 3 years ago to Sneinton Market I’ve always shared. So the idea of moving into somewhere I can put my very own stamp on is brilliant!

It also means I can realise a few little dreams too, mainly to create a beautiful, creative space for kids because this is what the business is about. And it’s made me realise just how tricky that can be in a shared space. Now there won’t be bags of space for workshops and the like but what I would like to do is to create a mini gallery aimed at little ones. Somewhere to come and be inspired about your own spaces at home. Somewhere to be inspired with gift ideas. Somewhere to be creatively inspired.
The move is pretty imminent and when it’s all ready I’ll be having a little launch which you’re all invited to! In the meantime check out the Sneinton Market Facebook page where you will find details of all the brilliant events we have coming up. From our hugely successful Friday Nights through to big football games and Nottingham Pride there’s a bit of something for everyone.
May 3rd, June 7th, July 5th, Aug 2nd, 6th Sept, 4th Oct for Friday night fun!
So watch this space for the launch date and hopefully see you at one of the Friday Nights soon!
